David and I have finally got around to starting a blog… Something which will allow our ex guests and now friends to keep in touch with what is going on at Abode and more generally what we are up to in Buenos Aires.
For starters the weather as (almost always) is lovely and sunny and everything seems pretty much alright with the world. Apart that is, from our terrace, which as we speak is having major reconstructive surgery. Due to a burst water main we have dug the whole thing up and are now in the process of laying it all back down again. The upside to this though is two fold. Firstly we no longer have the horrible monstrosity in the middle so we now have much more space and secondly it is all going to be lovely and spankingly new. I have posted some photos so you can all see what we are up to and i’ll update it as we go. We will be reopen though for guests by the weekend after next 16th Oct so if anyone fancys an impromptu trip to the sun we are open from then.
Also we are offering 10% discount on all rooms booked in October to celebrate the opening of the new terrace so if you know anyone coming to town pass on our details.

Starting to look really good. What’s most impressive is the fact that David carried all the rubble down the several flights of stairs from the roof. He must have muscular arms by now. XX
